Sell 1,611.88 €The 2006 coin, 200 Yuan China Yue Lu Academy, is dedicated to Yue Lu Academy, founded during the Northern Song Dynasty in 976 CE under the reign of Emperor Kaibao. Located on the east side of Yuelu Mountain in Changsha, Hunan Province, it was one of the four great Shuyuan higher academies of learning. Renowned Confucian Song Dynasty scholars Zhu Xi (1130-1200) and Zhang Shi (1133-1181) served as lecturers there. In 1906, it became Hunan University.
