Canadian Gold Maple Leafs are considered to be one of the most beautiful Gold coins in the world. Since its release in 1979, the 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf has appealed to both investors and collectors alike for its beauty and purity. The Gold Canadian Maple Leaf was the answer to the world's need for Gold Bullion Coins preceded only by the Krugerrand. But to make it even better, the Royal Canadian Mint released the Gold Maple Leaf as the first ever 24K bullion coin available to the modern world.

The obverse face of the 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coin features a portrait of Canada’s head of state, Queen Elizabeth II, with the coin’s face value, 50 dollars, and the year of issue, 2023, inscribed in an arc below. The obverse also bears a special marking that includes four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins and the double date of her reign.

The reverse of the coin features a designs of Canada’s national symbol, the Maple Leaf, with the words ‘CANADA’ ‘FINE GOLD’ ‘1 OZ OR PUR’, and the gold coin’s purity 9999.

The RCM 2023 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coin features three security enhancements - radial lines on both coin faces, a micro-engraved maple leaf displaying the number 22, and the RCM’s proprietary BULLION DNA anti-counterfeiting technology.
